A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE VILLAGE OF AFTON, NY. AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF THE 2021 CHENANGO COUNTY, NY HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN UPDATE (see PDF)
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 1428 of the Real Property Tax Law, the Warrant and Tax Roll for the collection of Village Taxes for the Village of Afton, NY has been filed with the Village Clerk Treasurer for the fiscal year June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024.
Taxes will be received at the Village Clerk's Officer, 105 Main Street, Afton, NY, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm from Monday thru Thursday from June 1, 2023 through July 30, 2023, without penalty.
Beginning on July 31, 2023 a 5% penalty will be added, an additional 1% penalty will be added for each month thereafter until paid.
Collection of taxes will continue until the November 6, 2023, at that time all unpaid taxes will be sent back to the County to be relevied.
